Cinematic Spartan Ops
Bry posted this a couple of days ago, but I accidentally passed over it when I was posting news: he’s finished the first five episodes of his Spartan Ops series. We mentioned the first episode a couple of weeks ago – now he’s got all five episodes up. These are there to show you the story – they include the cutscenes, and pared-down gameplay, with no commentary. A great way to experience the tale of you’re not able to play! (Louis Wu 16:54:42 UTC)

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Rockets to Top 10 on iTunes Movies List
We would like to thank all of our loyal fans that helped to make the digital release of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn an outstanding success. During the film’s first week, it broke into the top ten movies on iTunes for rentals and downloads. The live-action story of Thomas Lasky and the Master Chief beat out some of this summer’s top Hollywood blockbusters. Thank you for helping make this possible!

The HBO Forum Card Game Needs You!
A couple of weeks ago, pete_the_duck announced a project he called the ‘HBO Forum Card Game’ – he was going to create a game based on forum members. It sounded pretty amazing! Unfortunately, not enough of you are signing up – he’s worried the deadline (December 23) will arrive before he receives enough applications to make the game feasible. He’s not willing to beg you to sign up – so I’m going to do that for him. Please sign up! This could be a super-fun project, but it can’t happen without you. Full details on how to submit a card can be found in this post.(Louis Wu 16:18:56 UTC)

The Running Riot – Going Meta
Kete stopped by to announce a couple of things earlier this week; apologies for neglecting to point this out. The Running Riot podcast will be kicking off a couple of new formats this month – Spectator Mode will have TRR doing a live recording of OTHER podcasts… on their show. Think of it as a podcast within a podcast. And Riot Sandbox will open the discussion up to whatever you’d like to talk about – think of it as an open mic night. Check out the post for details! The first Spectator Mode ‘cast will be with the Forward Unto Dawn crew, tomorrow night at 9pm Eastern. Tune in!(Louis Wu 15:59:37 UTC)

Only YOU can save the Warthogs.
Heh – pretty cool. t00lbox found that if you skip the cave tunnel you need to walk through at the beginning of Requiem, the Warthogs on the other side don’t get destroyed! (So… it looks like YOU’RE responsible for blowing those bad boys up. Nice going… jerk.) Check it out – then try it for yourself!(Louis Wu 15:39:31 UTC)
