Halo CE to Halo 4 Speedrun Charity Project 2012
Earlier this year, slYnki announced that he would be attempting a speedrun of Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4. His goal is to set records as well as raise money for Child’s Play (according to his youtube description). Harvesting Confusion
With the recent Crimson map pack release for Halo 4, many gamers found that they were able to download the map pack for free, which caused confusion amongst players and frustration amongst those who had paid for the maps. Kotaku posted an article detailing specifics as well as a comment from Microsoft PR explaining the situation. According to Microsoft, due to complications with the specialization code distribution, complimentary access to the Crimson map pack will run for a LIMITED time, through December 18th at 9am UTC/GMT. Hopefully Microsoft’s message will reach as many players as possible, so as to not create more confusion when some players’ map pack DLC disappears on the 18th.(mastrbiggy 12:23:22 UTC)

Halo 4 debuts the return of Master Chief in the new Reclaimer trilogy and the first encounter with the Forerunners: the builders of the Halos.
