Cody Miller’s speedrun of Halo 2 on Legendary with no deaths has made the Guinness Book of World Records. Grande Carne noticed this in his new edition of the BoWR and posted it to HBO this morning. Congrats to Cody Miller for his insane speedrun and for going down in history.

The Last Judgement Trailer
Incogneto45 submitted to the MPRRS a trailer for ‘The Last Judgement’, a machinima project coming soon. The subject matter isn’t very new – a small band of survivors, attempting to stave off destruction by the legions of Hell – but the cinematics are quite good; this one looks to be worth waiting for! Gah. Yesterday, I posted a note about Wahttehhog’s ‘Ancien Regime’, a large vid that passed the MPRRS with flying colors. I’d forgotten, as I promised, to point out their blog, where you can comment on this piece – and where, if you’re in the mood, you can download a much, much less compressed version (nearly 600 mb). Reyals Bemus submitted ‘Wahttehhog Ep. 2 – Ancien Regime’ to the MPRRS last week; it was a rather large file, so it took the reviewers some time to get through it. They passed it this morning, with rave reviews. It says ‘Episode 2’, but in fact it’s not really related to Episode 1 except in the sense that it was made by the same group of people. This one tells the story of a corrupt government, and a Resistance movement set up to fight it. A top rebel is attacked in his hidden sanctuary by government forces bent on breaking him.
