  • Halo Genecide v1.3 for PSP

    This is pretty cool. Zion, from the 1timeuser.com forums, posted a version of Halo for the PSP. It’s a 2D side-scroller, and it seems similar to Halo Zero. Give it a download and lemme know what you think!

    Download this video

    Cryptoflix gives us a brief run through of how to get the famine skull, in halo 2 on the oracle in legendary mode. The skulls effect is that it makes any weapon that you pick up have less ammo in it. Thanks Crypto!


  • Zune – Halo 3 Military Edition

    Interesting. Microsoft has decided to release yet another Halo 3 Zune – this one is brown, and is labeled “Zune – Halo 3 Military Edition”, and will be available exclusively at military retail stores in August. 300 of them will be given to soldiers in USO care packages.   • Outback – in Hi-res

    As mentioned earlier, last week we were sent a high-res version of ‘Outback’, a fun live-action video created by Westerfield Studios.     Dojorkan seems to be unhappy about a new sweepstakes he noticed at GameStop – you’ve got a chance at winning a grand prize package consisting of a training session with one of the Ogre twins, a copy of Halo 2, an Xbox 360 Elite, a Halo 3 headset, a poster, and a t-shirt.   • Hexic 2 coming to XBOX Live Arcade in August. Over 100 XBLA titles before the end of the year.

    The wife acceptance factor keeps going up. Hexic 2 with multiplayer support will launch on XBOX Live Arcade this month along with Ecco the Dolphin. Other mediocre titles also launch this summer. From the Microsoft press release:

  • I’m almost ready for a film of my own.

    When I got home yesterday, a box was waiting for me; in it, I found a gift from someone who wishes to remain anonymous. I don’t know much about it – but it looks a lot like it was made by Westerfield Studios – you can see a couple like it in use in their ‘Outback’ film released recently. (In fact, that reminds me – Dustin Fecera sent me a high-resolution version of that film while I was out of town; I forgot to encode it yesterday, so downloadable QT/WMP9 versions will be available for download later today.)   • Perceiving the Dimensions of Iris, Episode 2

    Three weeks ago, DHalo and Ibeechu released a video recap of the Iris ARG, giving you a way to watch what had been learned in the early days of the game. They’ve released a second episode, now – this one goes in-depth into the whole process, covering the two-week period from June 14 to June 29.
