Yesterday, Halo Waypoint posted a press release about the newest novel in the Halo library – Halo: Cryptum. It’s the first of Greg Bear’s Forerunner trilogy, and the press release displays the cover art, discusses Bear himself, and announces that the book will be available (in both print and audio formats) in January 2011. Vulture, an entertainment blog at New York Magazine, touched on the news that Stephen Spielberg is interested in a Halo movie – although we already posted about this on Wednesday, the Vulture article also contains a run-down of what happened to the FIRST attempt at a Halo movie.
