Forging Ahead: Another Set of Eyes
GhaleonEB has updated his Forging blog, with a new article that looks at getting feedback from friends on a work-in-progress… and how to gather information from them directly. Always remember: your creation has to be fun to OTHER people if it’s going to be used…(Louis Wu 12:54:27 UTC)

Time to Unlock
If you’re curious about the pace at which we’re filling the Challenge thermometer on Bungie.net, there are a couple of useful ways to keep track of things. Over at Bungie.net, Spitfire222 has been putting up comparison images every day, showing the movement of the bar relative to the first day’s movement. Looks like we DEFINITELY complete more challenges on the weekends… And if you’re tired of checking to see if the image has been updated, NeoGAF’s Chapel wrote a script that tweets when the image shifts; you can keep track of these changes by monitoring his #closer2commander Twitter hashtag.(Louis Wu 12:42:28 UTC)

AH: Unleash the Force! Too!
I gotta say, it feels pretty good to be doing Star Wars: Force Unleashed II videos. It seems like just yesterday I was cutting TFU videos for our young site. How we’ve grown!
Here are a few new vids, the first up is for the “Stakross Medal of Excellence” achievement.
Up next is the “Poor Bob” and “Sky Killer” guide.
And last is a guide for the “Kamfetti” and “It Burns” achievements. Enjoy!

Tales from the Cryptum
Beckx decided it would be prudent to let our forum know about an article on io9.com discussing Cryptum. Excellent read! Wise choice indeed, Beckx… (GrimBrother One 19:55:50 UTC)

Wait… what?
The Torontoist has a story about Halo: The Ballet – the actors call themselves ‘Halorinas’. I… yeah, just go read about it, and watch the video of a rehearsal.(Louis Wu 18:51:24 UTC)

AH: Video Threesome
Hey Everyone, Fragger and I tackled a three videos in three different games today, trying to clear the way for the onslaught of videos coming after tomorrow’s releases. The first one is in Vanquish, and shows how to find all of the hidden collectibles in Act Two of the game: Next up is another Fragger video for you. This one shows how to get “The Commander” in Super Meat Boy. And last but not least is a bit of a test I did. It’s part one of a two part series finding the collectibles in Ben 10: Cosmic Destruction. The twist? Since it’s a kid’s game, I kept it family friendly. And before you ask, yes, it was hard for me.

RT: Shirt Sale, 2011 Calendar, New Single, and a RvB PSA!
We are having a huge FIRE SALE! Check out these discounted shirts. They are being retired and will no longer be available once stock is gone.
We also have a brand new item we are adding to the store today. The 2011 Calendar is now available. It was completely redesigned and it is now full size (12″ x 12″). You can see the monthly images here. The months are now seasonly themed. Check out what you have to look forward to in January.
We have added a new song to iTunes. I say Ohh was featured in the montage for the RT Short, “Stand Alone”. It’s also available as a ringtone if you are searching for it from your iPhone. It’s perfect for getting that special Gus in the mood.
Lastly, we are releasing PSA 4: Upgrading. It was featured on the Revelation DVD. If you havn’t checked out the DVD, what’s wrong with you? There are some other cool features like deleted scenes, a VFX feature, and an interview with the Ladies of Red vs. Blue. That’s it for me. Have a great monday.
