Hey guys,
If you’re already following @AchievementHunt on Twitter, you’ll already know about the additional input that’s going to added to it from now. Myself and Fragger are set up to answer quick questions, maybe provide achievement advice on the fly or even just have a chat if that’s what you guys want.

In any case, the official Achievement Hunter Twitter account is going to be much more active now, so if you’re not following us, please do. If you are following us, we’d appreciate the extra support in Follow Fridays (don’t forget the #FF hashtag!).

Of course, if you don’t want to get involved on Twitter, don’t worry, you’ll still get all the videos and news that you’ve come to expect from Achievement Hunter!

General Battuta has been a vocal critic of the Reach campaign story – and now he’s given you an opportunity to see what he might have done differently. He’s begun a rewrite of the script – and there are some substantial changes. Go read it – and see how you feel!(Louis Wu 13:39:41 UTC)

Bry has finished his ‘Ace of Aces’ machinima – the highlight (as might be expected) is the Sabre flying, but the overall presentation – music, cinematography, etc – is really polished and worth seeing. Go follow the exploits of the UNSC’s greatest flying Ace! (Louis Wu 13:19:06 UTC)

Tex was playing some Co-op on Winter Contingency, and was amused by Carter’s lack of focus – so she drew up her viewpoint. Good stuff! (Louis Wu 13:18:41 UTC)

Cody Miller is participating in a 5-day Charity Speedrun Marathon – he, personally, will be playing Halo, Portal, and MGS 2, back-to-back-to-back, on the first day. Money is being raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation – get prepared for some awesome speedruns, and contribute to this great cause! (Louis Wu 13:18:02 UTC)

The Achievement Hunter guys came up with a new kind of game – they’re playing HORSE (the classic 1v1 basketball game, modified in concept to play nicely in Halo). Build a simple challenge, then try and be the first person to complete it. What a lot of fun! Check it out. Again, thanks, urk. (Louis Wu 13:16:58 UTC)

It’s not everyday you get a free game available on XBox Live Arcade that includes Gamerscore, so to recieve two on the same day makes it seem like Christmas came a little early this year.

The two games in question are:

• Doritos Crash Course – Not to be mistaken with the Left 4 Dead DLC, this free arcade game is a multiplayer, family friendly obstacle course using your Avatar as your playable character. The game supports up to 4 players over XBox Live and local split-screen. Download it here!
• Harms Way – Another multiplayer game that involves teams racing against each other to complete 3 laps of a course, but some members of each team will be camping in sniper spots trying to stop the enemy racers. Download it here!

Both games have a full 200 Gamerscore up for grabs like usual Arcade games, so grab these early Christmas presents now!
Many thanks to the XBox.com Content Coordinator Nick Bennett @the_droog for the head’s up!

Bungie had a few informational posts yesterday:

• If you full-party boost, you should read this to see what is, and is NOT, allowed.
• The MLG Playlist is now active on Xbox LIVE – if you’re looking for a more predictable game, this is your list! Also, Breakpoint Invasion is now in the Noble Map Pack hopper (it’s still in the Invasion hopper, but it only shows up there if all players have the new maps, so this might be a better chance to play it).
• Finally, the Bungie.net mobile site is live – if you’ve got a mobile device, this will make navigation oh so much easier! Check it out.

Looks like Tuesday was a busy day for Bungie!(Louis Wu 12:33:43 UTC)

You may have noticed that news coverage yesterday was pretty sparse; sometimes real life gets in the way of HBO. Sorry. Gonna do my best to catch up this morning; I’m in and out, so there may be gaps in the timing. First up: The Running Riot is conducting a contest to build a new ‘studio’ in which to conduct its in-game interviews. Swing by Forge Hub for full details! (thanks, urk) (Louis Wu 12:33:15 UTC)

Greetings folks. I just wanted to share a piece of World of Warcraft history with you all. Last night (technically this morning) around 2am CST, Cataclysm went live. That means of course, flying mounts are now available for the Old World.

I had the opportunity to be there near the flight master when it was pushed live and wanted to share this with you.

Also, Geoff is a dick.

Greetings programs! As promised earlier by Geoff here is the first in my guide to all the collectibles in Tron Evolution. Expect more videos in the near future!

We said goodbye to Gus today.

For my first video today we shall rock some Splatterhouse and see some more . . . pictures of Jen!

Size doesn’t matter.

Double whammy.

So here’s the first of our Tron Evolution videos. Fragger should be around soon with a collectible guide as well.

imSuck sent word that TheDigitalSet.com is hosting a Halo: Reach Forge contest – create a cool map (guidelines on the contest page), win a bunch of goodies. You’ve got a week – get Forging!(Louis Wu 21:25:25 UTC)
