The Achievement Hunter guys came up with a new kind of game – they’re playing HORSE (the classic 1v1 basketball game, modified in concept to play nicely in Halo). It’s not everyday you get a free game available on XBox Live Arcade that includes Gamerscore, so to recieve two on the same day makes it seem like Christmas came a little early this year.

The two games in question are:

• Doritos Crash Course – Not to be mistaken with the Left 4 Dead DLC, this free arcade game is a multiplayer, family friendly obstacle course using your Avatar as your playable character. The game supports up to 4 players over XBox Live and local split-screen. Download it here!
• Harms Way – Another multiplayer game that involves teams racing against each other to complete 3 laps of a course, but some members of each team will be camping in sniper spots trying to stop the enemy racers. Download it here!

Both games have a full 200 Gamerscore up for grabs like usual Arcade games, so grab these early Christmas presents now!

Bungie had a few informational posts yesterday:

• If you full-party boost, you should read this to see what is, and is NOT, allowed.
• The MLG Playlist is now active on Xbox LIVE – if you’re looking for a more predictable game, this is your list! Also, Breakpoint Invasion is now in the Noble Map Pack hopper (it’s still in the Invasion hopper, but it only shows up there if all players have the new maps, so this might be a better chance to play it).
• Finally, the Bungie.net mobile site is live – if you’ve got a mobile device, this will make navigation oh so much easier! Check it out.

Greetings folks. I just wanted to share a piece of World of Warcraft history with you all. Last night (technically this morning) around 2am CST, Cataclysm went live. That means of course, flying mounts are now available for the Old World.

I had the opportunity to be there near the flight master when it was pushed live and wanted to share this with you.
