Greetings folks. I just wanted to share a piece of World of Warcraft history with you all. Last night (technically this morning) around 2am CST, Cataclysm went live. That means of course, flying mounts are now available for the Old World.

I had the opportunity to be there near the flight master when it was pushed live and wanted to share this with you.

Also, Geoff is a dick.

It’s not everyday you get a free game available on XBox Live Arcade that includes Gamerscore, so to recieve two on the same day makes it seem like Christmas came a little early this year.

The two games in question are:

• Doritos Crash Course – Not to be mistaken with the Left 4 Dead DLC, this free arcade game is a multiplayer, family friendly obstacle course using your Avatar as your playable character. The game supports up to 4 players over XBox Live and local split-screen. Download it here!
• Harms Way – Another multiplayer game that involves teams racing against each other to complete 3 laps of a course, but some members of each team will be camping in sniper spots trying to stop the enemy racers. Download it here!

Both games are part of Doritos Unlock XBox competition, and have a full 200 Gamerscore up for grabs like usual Arcade games, so grab these early Christmas presents now!

Last month, we mentioned a report that the Halo Wars website was being dismantled, with some of its functionality being moved over to the Halo Waypoint website. Folks were pretty unhappy that the online stat-tracking was being discontinued – but don’t worry, the Waypoint team was listening!
