AH: Block Shaped Community Portal Videos
Crikey, it’s another explosion of Portal 2 videos from the community today, as well as a little game called Minecraft.
BioHRay and Nand team up in the name of science to give us “Portal Conservation Society” and “Party of Three” guides in Portal 2.
Proving to be more likeable than a Turret, BioHRay also joins companion FlapNasty3 to show us their guide for the “Smash TV” achievement in Portal 2.
ShoveImage makes us feel a little neglected with the “Empty Gesture” achievement in Portal 2.
Our last Portal 2 community guide for today comes from Ollie123456, who brings us the “Ship Overboard” achievement guide.
Finally, L0rdVex shows us the new achievements “Getting Wood” and “Benchmaker” in Minecraft.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving
Last week, I held a contest on my Twitter account (shameless plug) for a Mark V Spartan helmet (It’s actually a Mark VI, but who’s counting? 😉 -Grim), and Hyokin was the lucky winner. Instead of keeping it for himself, he decided to be charitable and hold a contest for it. All you need to do is draw, take a screenshot or Photoshop a picture of a purple Spartan rocking the EVA helmet. Also, I completely misinformed him about the helmet. It’s for both male and female avatars. For some reason I thought he was talking about the Spartan armor. Sorry about that, mate! (Hitmonchan107 20:04:32 UTC)

AH: AH PR – PSN and XBL Security Issues
While I hope this isn’t something we need to do regularly, the information in this post may benefit some people.
As you are most likely aware, the PlayStation Network (PSN) has been down since April 20th, with Sony confirming that this was due to an intrusion on the service. This week, Sony have also given warning that PSN account holder information may have been obtained as a result of the service intrusion. Although Sony can neither confirm or deny what information has been obtained, if any, the current advise is to change any and all passwords linked to your PSN account. If you have a credit card linked to your PSN account, your card number and expiry date (but not the security code) could also be compromised, and it may be in your best interest to contact your bank to ensure no fraudulant purchases are made.
For more information on the PSN outage, please read the FAQ on the issue.
There is also a security warning on the Xbox Live Status page of their website. There is currently a known exploit within matchmaking for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which players may receive messages over Xbox Live with specific wording in the title. These messages may be an attempt to obtain your personal information stored on your Xbox Live account, otherwise known as a phising scam. Although there are no official instructions provided on keeping your information secure, I personally would suggest vigilance with all messages on Xbox Live from unknown Gamertags until the issue is resolved.
We’ll try to keep you all up to date with any major changes to the current events.
