This Week’s Bulletin – 4.5.12
This week’s Bulletin will be published on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Yes, there’s a reason. And this time, it’s not because I forgot to look at my calendar, either!
Warning: Late news is small. I mean small news is late. I mean… well, both statements are accurate, so I’ll just leave it at that. Until then….

Yes, it’s true. Bungie loves you.
I definitely have to question Sawnose’s timing… but I tip my hat to his attitude. Over on Bungie.net, he posted a tutorial showing how you can keep your Reach player model updated on Bungie.net, even though Bungie no longer has access to any of the back-end data. They’ve put in a tool that will allow you to MANUALLY update to your current model – now THAT’S fan love! (The Bungie.net version is higher-res than the 343 version, and has your Spartan holding a DMR instead of an AR. In addition, the B.net model has the potential to be downloaded as a rotating video, though I haven’t been able to test that yet, since it requires seeing the updated avatar first, and I’m still waiting – on both B.net and Waypoint.) Go read his post for full details! Thanks to bobs99 over at NeoGAF for noticing.(Gen Vagueness 16:58:23 UTC)

Keep it alive!
uberfoop played some Halo 3 yesterday. He made a 4-minute clip from a Social Big Team CTF game on Standoff. For nearly 3 minutes, the flag (and the action) remains in a 20-foot radius… and yet the entire clip is eminently watchable. Makes me want to jump back into Halo 3!(Louis Wu 16:14:30 UTC)
