AH: Reach for the sky!
Good evening folks. We here at Achievement Hunter were lucky enough to end up with a few Halo: Reach Beta codes a bit early, so figured we’d pass the fun on to you. Here are walkthroughs of two of the maps you will be experiencing in the Halo: Reach beta when it goes live next Monday.
First up is “Sword Base.” Sounds awesome.
And here is “Powerhouse.”

AH: Wanna be in Crysis 2?
I received a pretty sweet email this morning from our friends over at EA. Right now they are kicking off a contest where the winners actually get their name/gamertag inserted into the next Crysis game. Pretty sweet!
It looks pretty easy too…here are the details I got in the mail, enjoy!
We are giving 50 people the opportunity to have their name (or gamertag/psn ID) immortalized in Crysis 2 as graffiti.
The contest is open to residents of US, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany. To enter follow @Crysis on Twitter and tweet one of the following:

RT: Contest Update
Since starting our Halo: Reach friends and family code giveaways yesterday we’ve already given away four of the six codes. 7imekeeper is enjoying the beta as we speak thanks to the fact he listens to the drunktank. lilsly619 and thesolidhome are both enjoying the beta because they logged into the site and made a journal about Reach some time in the past 24 hours. We don’t yet know who won the code we gave away via our twitter account but we’re sure they’re having a blast.
Don’t be sad though, we’re still going to give away 2 more codes today! We are going to give one away via our YouTube channel so be sure you subscribe to it, and we are going to give one away via our Facebook page…so make sure you “like” us and comment on our status update regarding the Reach beta.
Time is wasting, so get to it!

Grifbaaaaaaaaal
Apologies for the lightness of news today (I say this in advance); I’m keeping my head down, doing non-Halo-related work, and won’t be around much to update. (Also, I was pretty disheartened by the whole “I didn’t get a code” thing I see everywhere; easier to just stay off forums.) I’ll clear out the news queue, as it stands now – hopefully, we’ll be back in full force this weekend.
