Bungie Dayathon 2010: Going on now!
Just a reminder: FyreWulff’s Bungie Dayathon 2010 is under way; he’s about to start playing Oni, and a large block of Halo is following that directly. Go watch, go contribute – all money goes to the Brian Morden Foundation!(Louis Wu 17:34:28 UTC)

How Do We Love Halo?
Hawty McBloggy posted her Bungie Day Community Project – it’s many, many poems and images from fans showing their love for Bungie and Halo in a myriad of ways. Go explore! Without fans like Hawty (who give other fans a place to express their love for the game, and the game’s creators), Bungie wouldn’t be the company it is today!(Louis Wu 17:26:28 UTC)

RT: Bungie Day PSA 2010
Hey everybody. Today is Bungie Day and we are celebrating with an all new RvB PSA video. I don’t know if you have heard, but everyone’s favorite developer is busy wrapping up their latest game, so they asked us to help out with a new video PSA for all their fans. Doing that meant spending almost four days locked in a room with Reach — so what were we going to say? No?
We didn’t say no.
Check it out and Happy Bungie Day!

Deja View
So Bungie made it clear that there wouldn’t be any new maps coming, or Xbox LIVE Dashboard Themes, or gamerpics, or any of that stuff. Sketch even made it clear that they needed to outsource the actual product, because the studio didn’t have the time to give it the love it deserved. Are your expectations low enough? Go download ‘Deja View’… you won’t be disappointed. Congrats to EVERYONE involved; there is so much goodness embedded in 5 minutes that you may have trouble picking up all the clever tidbits by yourself. What do YOU see?(Louis Wu 13:02:48 UTC)

Happy Bungie Day 2010!
According to
StoshSketch (via HBO and NeoGAF) Bungie had to “outsource” its Bungie Day gift for this year… not sure what that means, but in a few hours I suppose we’ll find out.UPDATE:
StoshSketch goes on in that NeoGAF thread to say that this year’s Bungie Day surprise is not a dashboard theme, a downloadable map, or the Halo Reach beta reactivated, but will be announced on the web today and will hit the marketplace the day after.UPDATE: The Bungie Day surprise was outsourced to Rooster Teeth.
