Customs Clan Does Halo 3
What happens when a group of fans get together and decide to see how funny a cutscene can be if the dialogue is redone with odd voices? One answer can be found on YouTube – the Customs Clan redid the final Floodgate cutscene. (Miranda sounds like Daffy Duck!) Oh, the things we do when we have too much time on our hands…(Louis Wu 10:55:53 UTC)

Putting out the Fires
Hawty McBloggy solicited submissions for a collection of screenshots showing off fans wearing the Bungie-only flames that were made available to the entire community on Wednesday – she got so many she had to put them up in two parts. (Part 1 | Part 2) And while the presentation isn’t nearly as pretty, or as big (and some of the images overlap Hawty’s collections), our forum started to do the same thing – you’ll find the thread here. Thanks, once again, to Bungie, for opening their closet and allowing us a brief but shining moment of dress-up! (Remember that you can wear this any time in Reach, simply by purchasing the Legendary Edition of the game.)(Louis Wu 10:54:28 UTC)

Take advantage; it’s only around until Monday morning!(Louis Wu 10:51:15 UTC)

ATR: Team Fortress 2 Engineer Update
The Engineer update is out! After a frantic download I spent a few hours and had tons of fun with the new maps and equipment! It’s been so popular that not only are the Steam servers backed up, but Team Fortress 2 Wiki has gone down too! The next show is going to be all about this update. We’ll give you info on all the new maps, weapons, and equipment. Send in your tips, strategies, thoughts on the new additions, and highlights from your games!I don’t have a set recording date yet, but it’ll be in about a week or so. That way you all will have plenty of time to play with the update. You can submit at the Around The Ring Contact Form Located Here, or send an email to atr@gmail.com. If you want you can also go under the contact menu above and select “Around The Ring”. Send em in soon!
Move ‘em out!

Forgehub on Podtacular 231
This week’s recording will feature Insane from Forgehub. For those who don’t know what Forgehub is, it’s a hub for forge creations… Not Kidding. If you’ve ever played a good custom, it’s more than likely it’s on Forgehub: including all those fun racetracks. Now is the time to submit any of your misplaced creations you created years ago and see if they stand up to the test of a Forgehub librarian (my custom naming). Use the Big Green Button on the right or send in your submissions to submissions@podtacular.com

Going Outside the Canyon
So you know how there was a note at the end of the Deja View video yesterday? The one that read ‘Go outside the canyon – Comic-con 2010’? Well, Voltron64 noticed that the program for Thursday’s talks include the following:6:00-7:00 Halo: Reach— Bungie hosts this discussion around the biggest game of 2010, including an in-person look at the campaign mode and a debut of some exciting Halo: Reach news. Room 6BCF
If you were thinking of going to Comic-Con, but were on the fence… get off it. Update: Sketchfactor clarified – the description in the program was placeholder, there WILL be exciting Reach news, but it won’t be about the Campaign. Lots of Bungie presence, and Firefight on the show floor. Do you have tickets yet?(Louis Wu 21:08:56 UTC)
