This week, we are proud to premiere the Team Snipers playlist. This playlist offers two different game modes: Team Snipers and Shotty Snipers. We are excited about this new and improved playlist that will offer two very different variants – while the classic Shotty Snipers offers a wonderfully chaotic harmony of long and close range combat, the new Team Snipers game type offers a pure sniping experience – the stripped down variant features disabled radar, grenades, secondary weapons, and instant respawn. In addition to some of the game’s larger maps, we’ve included modified versions of Abandon, Haven, and Shutout, the Lockout remake that was made popular in the Community Forge Test playlist.
Also premiering for the first time is Team Objective, which combines 4 vs. 4 Team Regicide, Oddball, and King of the Hill. Instant respawn has been disabled in both Oddball and King of the Hill.
Team Doubles has also received some updates. The biggest change to this playlist is the removal of instant respawn from Infinity Doubles. With this change, instant respawn is now disabled across the entire playlist to provide the best game flow. Additionally, we’ve addressed some weapon and respawn issues across a few of the maps in the playlist. As always, we’ll be keeping a close eye on community feedback and updating this (and other playlists) as necessary. If you’d like to leave feedback on any aspect of War Games / Matchmaking, check out our brand new feedback section.
For more information on the above, detailed settings for Team Snipers variants, information about Team Doubles updates, and additional Team Objective details check out The Halo Bulletin, and keep an eye out for Matchmaking updates each week!

Radar Glitch on Rail
XyloxHD posted a video video showing off a weird trait zone glitch on the map Rail. One of the player trait zones allows radar to appear for a moment – should be handy for Doubles Pro (no radar.) He also shows off a neat jump that I had no idea about. Go watch! Thanks, VivaciousJazzy.(mastrbiggy 16:08:55 UTC)
