Rampancy Renovations: New FAQs, Old Videos, Mobile Devices
The FAQ section has been reopened with an emphasis on Bungie’s new IP, Destiny. If you have a question to ask, submit it!
The movies section has been revised to clean out bitrot; old videos were transcoded from DivX and other older codec and container combinations to H.264 MP4 files. Where this could not be done, YouTube videos were substituted. A number of other videos recently added to YouTube by Bungie and others have been added, specifically for Marathon and Halo. All videos should now play fine in the browser, defaulting to Flash with a fallback to HTML5 for those who do not have flash installed.
The site should present a minimal theme to mobile devices such as phones and tables, removing most of the blocks along the top, bottom, and sides of the site, presenting only the main menu in the form of a button at the top right. The movie player is compatible with iOS devices.

An early look at Majestic’s maps
Looks like screenshots of the next Halo 4 map pack (dropping in just over a week) have leaked out – swing by NeoGAF to view Wifiplayer13’s post. He found them by simply editing URLs on Halo Waypoint. Alpha Lupi ARG Images Posted
With the Alpha Lupi ARG now concluded and mere hours to wait before Bungie’s expected Destiny reveal at 09:30 today PST, Bungie has published all the ARG-related images, including each day’s individual image, a combined image of all the messages for the week, a desktop picture, and an MP3 file featuring music by Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori for the new game. The track is called Eighth.
I’ve created an album for the alpha lupi images, as well as a local copy of the MP3 of Eighth.
Anyone want to take a stab at transcribing it?

We begin to approach the climax of Spartan Ops: Season 1 as we cover the fifth episode. The UNSC has recovered a Promethean soul, but the secrets that lie within are uncomfortably familiar to everyone on-board Infinity. Dr. Halsey’s ongoing pursuit for knowledge ends up turning against her, Thorne is teleported to Requeim, and it appears that Dr. Glassman may have activated the Librarian AI. What will be the fate of Glassman, Thorne and Halsey? We must wait to find out in the second half of the season. HaloFanForLife once again co-pilots the show in this cliffhanger. Enjoy
