Some people show their love for Halo by playing the games. Others get a relevant image permanently placed upon their body. Enjoy this particular example of a Halo-related body modification, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

From Dust Storm:
We continue our Halo 4 Spartan Ops coverage as we start to dive into the secrets that Requiem holds. A strange Forerunner artifact has been recovered and brought aboard Infinity, which soon wreaks havoc across the entire ship. Systems begin to malfunction and the Infinity is being pulled towards Requiem. Luckily, Commander Palmer is fast on her feet and manages to save the ship by giving the artifact a firm kick. Dr. Glassman’s curiosity gets the better of him and gets absorbed by the artifact. While you and the rest of your Spartan team can’t do much about it at the time, there are still things to do on Requiem to keep the Covenant and the Prometheans at bay while scientists dive further into the depths of the planet. Again, we are joined by our resident Spartan Ops expert HaloFanForLife. Enjoy!

Deadpoint: The point when you’re neither rising nor falling. The apex of vertical movement.
Deadpoint is my first trick jumping montage. The video shows a variety jumps in Halo PC, a game which hasn’t seen much serious trick jumping, though all the other games in the Halo series have. The video was edited by me (Mator). Enjoy!

Bungie introduces Forge into the Halo Franchise back in 2007, and in its successive iterations, we’ve gained new tools and features to extend the Halo sandbox. This has lead to the creation of awesome custom maps, competitive play spaces, Forge art and much more. With the recent release of Forge Island, map makers have a blank canvas to do just about anything. On this episode, we take a look back at how Forge started out for Halo and how it has grown since. We have the honor of having Pete the Duck, CruelLEGACEY and iTheGM on to discuss its history and where Forge stands today. Enjoy
Every Monday, we feature a community member who does one or more of the following things: routinely goes above and beyond for their fellow forum members, is a positive and active member of the community, and/or sends me mass amounts of cat pictures. This week our Community Member of the Week is SepheusIX. Read a little more about this particular fan below, then hit their profile to learn even more!

Gamertag: SepheusIX.
Origin of Gamertag: I liked the mythological name Cepheus and IX is because I was the ninth in my ‘group’.
Current clan/community: Proud to be a leading member of the Section 3 team!
Halo game(s) you are currently playing: Halo 4.
Favorite map, game type and playlist: Lately I’ve been enjoying Adrift, as it fits my play style. As for game type, I really only play Team Slayer/Infinity Slayer. My favourite playlist was the Majestic DLC playlist when it was around!
Least favorite map, game type and playlist: I’d have to say Complex, within the Infinity Slayer rotation, because it doesn’t really fit my expectations of a Team Slayer/Infinity Slayer map. FFA game types and playlists aren’t really my thing.
Preferred control scheme: Recon, sensitivity 8.
Halo playing style (offense, defense, sniper, driver, etc.): Reflexive. I will approach each match with an overall strategy; I always have an opening gambit.
Favorite Halo character: hydrAi.
Favorite Halo book: I will get around to them… eventually.
Favorite Halo quote: /I SHOULD PROBABLY NOT BE USING 500 YEAR OLD ‘INCLUDED’ SOFTWARE FOR FLIPPING BYTES, AFTER ALL FLIPPING USUALLY MEANS AND MODIFY @#%#@%^#$
Anything else we should know? I’ve created a few ‘things’ since becoming a member of Section 3, such as some puzzles for the community!
From TheHarbinger427:
“Awesome Kills and Funny Deaths” is all about showing off you, the community. Unfortunately I didn’t have a lot to work with outside my own game play but I did what I could with what I had. These montages will get much better if you send me your awesomeness!
