Halo IRL: Jotun Heavy Industries
Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

Master Chief and Cortana – Halo Pins
From MotherMcKarther:
Halo has been my favorite game series since I was introduced to it with Halo 3, it was only a matter of time before I made character pins. Cortana took a while simply because it was hard to fit her hair. Her eyes are a little too close to each other but I still like how she came out. The Chief, on the other hand, was living hell to make. I messed up a few times and his visor was just plain evil. Little bastard probably took around three to four hours and was definitely the biggest pain in the ass out of all of the pins so far. Though, he is my favorite!

One Final Effort – the Strings version
Totally missed this when it was released… but hey, better late than never! Analekta published an album titled ‘Game Music‘ – and one of the songs was a version of Halo 3’s One Final Effort, by violinist Angèle Dubeau and her string orchestra La Pietà. Gorgeous! (There’s a playable version on the page linked above, or you can buy it, presumably at a higher fidelity, for $0.99.)(Louis Wu 20:29:18 UTC)
