From AgentPaperCraft:
Hello, Waypoint goers! With the addition of community-made content into Matchmaking, custom maps and game types have become an integral part of Halo’s Multiplayer. Forgers and game type creators often work hours, days and even months on their content before it’s considered for Matchmaking, and it’s usually the lack of having a ready player-base to test their maps that it takes so long. So I offer an option to our Forgers, a place to bring your maps and game types to have them tested and reviewed by a group of the top Forgers around. You’ll receive top-notch forging tips and tricks to wow your players, improve map spawn and flow, provide a better map experience and get your name out there. You’ll also get to work directly with the Community Cartographers, a select group of community Forge enthusiasts who work with 343 Industries in the search of top-quality content for Matchmaking consideration. Every Wednesday night at 6PM ET, get an invite by sending “AgentPaperCraft” a message over Xbox LIVE, or leave a comment in the Test Night Thread.
Hope to see you there!

Every Monday, we feature a community member who does one or more of the following things: routinely goes above and beyond for their fellow forum members, is a positive and active member of the community, and/or sends me mass amounts of cat pictures. This week our Community Member of the Week is Furiousn00b. Read a little more about this particular fan below, then hit their profile to learn even more!

Gamertag: Furiousn00b.
Origin of Gamertag: I got an original Xbox for Christmas one year that came with Halo: CE and a trial Xbox LIVE Gold code. Going with the assumption that I would test the waters of Xbox LIVE with a throwaway account, I tried to create the Gamertag “noob” – no dice, already taken. One of the recommended alternatives was Furiousn00b – it was settled. My “throwaway” account now has a tenure of 9 years!
Halo game(s) you are currently playing: Halo 4, Halo 4 ARG.

Least favorite map: Any map not in any playlist rotation 🙁
Least favorite game type: VIP / Juggernaut.

Halo playing style (offense, defense, sniper, driver, etc.): Hold forward, all the time. Aggressive to a fault.
Favorite Halo character: Avery Johnson.
Favorite Halo book: Halo: The Fall of Reach.
Favorite Halo Game Campaign: Halo 3: ODST.
Favorite Halo Game Multiplayer: Halo 2 / Halo 4.
Favorite Halo quote: “I was gonna shoot my way out. Mix things up a little.” – Master Chief

From MythicTyrant:
Greetings, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Halo 4 Mythic Difficulty! This can also be classified as LASO (Legendary All Skulls On). As you know, my name is The Tyrant, and I have been championing this mode of hardness for five years. Quite a bit has happened since the last time I embarked on this incredible journey, so let’s do a bit of re-cap, shall we?
The concept of “Mythic Difficulty” first originated with Halo 3. Since the Campaign was significantly easier than the previous installments, I felt it necessary to raise the bar a notch. So now, you have a “Mythic” mode which is just another way of saying “Single-Segment Legendary All Skulls On”. The Skulls, of course, are just a way of amplifying the difficulty of a Halo game.
I’d like to take a moment to thank RC Master, AuraSoldier313, Sliding Ghost, Michael W Smith, Old & Achy and the Mythic Community for doing much of the pioneering for Halo 4 Mythic. These men culled the odds without walkthroughs or tips, and many of the tricks you are about to receive originated from them. Well done, my Mythic Brethren.
Other shout outs go to Nak3d Eli, Greenskull, Goosechecka, Jessica Brohard, Jessica Shea, Bijou and Hannah Noble for further encouraging my Mythic antics. I tip my hat to you all for not just the aid you brought to mythictyrant.com, but also your great contributions to the Halo community as a whole. Keep up the fantastic work!
And one final shout out goes to my amazing friend Lawnmower. Honor this man. For without his extremely generous aid, the guides I’m about to bring you wouldn’t exist. You are a staple in the Halo community, my friend, and you helped make Mythic Difficulty what it is today!
