MLG Roundup
3Suns summarize a ton of new content on MLGPro.com for us – there’s some reflections from ShocKWav3, a ‘State of Str8 Address‘ from Tsquared, a look back at the 2007 circuit (and a look ahead to Orlando) from Mimic, Walshy’s Chicago memories, a video interview with Strongside, Ten top plays from the top 10 teams (highly recommended), some Orlando predictions from Elamite Warrior, and of course Video on Demand from Chicago. Go get psyched for Orlando!(Louis Wu 15:12:05 UTC)

New B.net next week. Screenshots spoilers in some user profiles. Miguel says ending to H3 is “perfect”. Series of tubes ablaze.

In this week’s Bungie Weekly Update, we get a healthy dose of HALO 3 and where it stands. A new Bungie.net will roll out next week with lots of new features. Some users will be playing the game before the game’s official launch. Since a new feature in HALO 3 is the ability to upload screenshots to your B.net profile, there will be spoilers at B.net. This could include shots of the entire last battle. It is safe to bet that spoilers will be all over the internet next week.
Community stand-out, Miguel Chavez, is quoted in the BWU as saying the ending to HALO 3 was “perfect”. This should be taken as a good sign for all of us as few people take the HALO storyline more serious that Miguel.

Halo on TV
A number of people have been letting us know that the Discovery Channel has started advertising a special Halo episode of their Future Weapons show. (Samusaaron3 was first with the news a couple of days ago.) This episode should air Monday. Major Silva noticed that the Sci Fi channel is airing something similar, the day Halo 3 is released – it’s called ‘Halo 3: Sci vs Fi’, and will be on the air at 4pm, according to this guide. (Of course, you can’t forget the SpikeTV and G4 specials that will be running on September 24…)(Louis Wu 11:42:42 UTC)

Flying and Driving
It’s Friday (well, Saturday by HBO’s clock, but Friday where I am), so it’s time for another Bungie Weekly Update. It went up on time this week – about 4 hours ago – and you should enjoy it, since it’s the second-to-last one that’ll be posted before the game launches. This one covers what the Bungie public relations have been like for the past week – and throws in some fun stuff to boot. And as usual, you can read it in our Weekly Update Archive, as well.(Louis Wu 03:30:21 UTC)

If you look at any HALO 3 online marketing, you have got to see halo3.com/believe. This website contains an interactive flash movie that allows you to fly through the battle memorial seen in the commercial “Believe”. You can even take screenshots as you pace through the battle. Also, you can get personal interviews with the characters in the video.

Believe Hi-Res Mirrors
trigger119 let us know that he’s put up a mirror of the 720p WMP9 from Yahoo, as well as encoded (with H.264, 72 mb) a version in QuickTime. They can both be found on this page at GamingTV. For what it’s worth, We’ve put up a 720p QuickTime, as well (62.5 mb) – this one is Sorenson 3-encoded, which should work on machines that can’t handle H.264.(Louis Wu 19:57:32 UTC)

(This was mentioned by Red_Breast a few days ago; I held off posting it because I’d meant to host his magazine scans as well, but haven’t found time to do that yet. The article showed up today at BusinessWeek, so I figured it was time to post it.)(Louis Wu 19:21:00 UTC)
