And it doesn’t make me breakfast, either.
I just love articles like this one: MyGEN (an Australian gaming site) put up the “Top 10 Things Bungie Screwed UP with Halo 3“. After stating that “in no way are we anti-halo or anti-Bungie”, they go on to complain about stuff like glitches in Bungie.net site integration and weapons nerfing with comments like “they honestly plain old suck”, “collision detection is shocking”, “shoddy net code”, and “bungie totally screwed it up”. Yeah, that’s definitely the sort of language I use when I’m trying to provide constructive criticism to a company I love. While some of their points have merit, many of the complaints are downright silly; it’s hard to take any of it seriously when they complain that in the two weeks since Bungie announced it’s separating from Microsoft, “we have not seen a single improvement to the reliability of matchmaking or their website.” I hesitated posting this since it seems to be designed more to generate web traffic than to actually discuss problems with the game… I found this at N4G.(Louis Wu 17:04:32 UTC)

If you think of it, someone will build it.
Someone created a guide to show you how to make a Halo 3 Xbox 360… out of paper. (No, it’s not a COVER for your regular 360. It’s a paper 360.) I don’t know what to say.(Louis Wu 10:55:17 UTC)

Game Makers – Halo
QuickTactical noticed an interview with Chris Barrett and Joe Tung from MLG Vegas last week – it’s a little hard to find. The link he gives is the same one MSN gives me – but it doesn’t get you there. Do a search for ‘Game Makers’ on that page, though, and you should find a vid called ‘Game Makers: Halo’. That’s the one you want.(Louis Wu 22:11:57 UTC)

Download | Shownotes
It’s Sunday which means it’s time for another shiny new episode of the Podtacular podcast. This week our guest host is Killazilla, head of the Review Frenzy feature here at Podtacular. Review Frenzy’s talented team of writers review all the hot new games to give you the heads up on what’s good and what suxorz. Anyway, this week is a huge verbal fileshare of awesome customs and forge edits from the community. We also talk about important topics like if Mr. T were gay, being raised by a family of yetis, and cacti that grow steaks. BIG thanks to Rodsmack10K at XBL10Kclub.com for sending me the infamous freestyle halo 3 beatbox/chant from the Seattle launch event. Check it out in the outtakes! This week’s winner for coolest screenshot goes to Face Head. If you want your screenshot on the cover of Podtacular for thousands to see, be sure to submit yours! It also might make it to the front page of podtacular.com.
