Bravo Kilo.
Last week, Bungie posted an analysis of the upcoming Brute Spiker; in it, one of the UNSC Marines referred to Brutes as ‘Bravo Kilos’. If this reference was lost on you, today’s One One Se7en might be, too… or maybe Stuntmutt will have cleared it up for you.(Louis Wu 15:58:24 UTC)

Even More Halo Swag On The Way
Think there’s already too much Halo merchandise out there? Too bad. Corgi International today announced a partnership with Microsoft to add Halo products to their “Master Replicas” series of collectibles. No word on if they’ll call them Master Chief Master Replicas.
From Corgi’s site:
While details of the line are still being worked out, look for products running the gamut from gifts to collectibles, spanning the vast universes of Halo, Halo 2, and the hotly anticipated Halo 3. Look for further product announcements and releases throughout 2007.
Thanks for the heads-up to Kotaku.

Bubble Shield Animation
DocOctavius and his buddies at the yayap.com forums were trying to work out the mechanics of the bubble shield shown off in last December’s Halo 3 ad; he rendered a local version, and it look pretty cool. Check it out! (QuickTime format, 232K)(Louis Wu 12:56:39 UTC)

Crackdown Hidden Orb Locations

If you’re looking for info on Crackdown, the MS-Xbox World forums has it. You can view maps of every race location, stunt location, and hidden orb location. Furthermore, you can find the map of hidden orbs with screenshots of every orb here. FoulBreed and I have been tagteaming the hidden orbs and it’s a beast with only a 2D map. The screenshots should help tremendously with the more difficult orbs.I have yet to find a map of every agility orb posted on the net, but there is a cumbersome 2D map in the Official Prima Strategy Guide.
Enjoy.

It’s Rumor Week, I Guess
This one’s DEEP in the rumor category – and remember, the Mole is right, at best, about half the time. According to Planet Halo, OXM’s Rumor Mole suggests that Certain Affinity, the team started by Halo Multiplayer Lead Max Hoberman that is currently working on some Halo 2 maps to be released soonish, is ALSO working on “a multiplayer-centric Halo Tournament type of game”. Not sure what that means, exactly – and I CERTAINLY haven’t heard it anywhere else, so don’t forget that sandbag full of salt.(Louis Wu 17:55:36 UTC)
