Dialogue – now characterized
Captain Spark took it upon himself to clean up our Halo 2 Dialogue Databank; he characterized all of the generic dialogue snippets (‘marines’, ‘marines_female’, ‘elites’, ‘grunts’, etc) into their more specific categories, based on Marty’s character breakdown. There are still a few snippets in the general categories, but the vast majority are now where they should be. Whew! Great job, Spark!(Louis Wu 13:03:33 UTC)

Trying and failing to be edgy and mature
The Bungie Weekly Update is online – and man, it’s a tasty one. There are seven panels from the upcoming first Halo: Uprising comic (man, does it look nice), and there are a whole bunch of questions taken off our forum last night, answered to a greater or lesser degree. Some of the things that jumped out at me: music is “99% finished” and in the game, the Arbiter will NOT be invulnerable when he’s playing with you, and Grunts reproduce frantically. Go read more! (If you read it in our Weekly Update Archive, the facing pages are already nicely stitched together for you, so that when you click on the smaller version, you’ll get more than half of the larger version.)(Louis Wu 00:57:43 UTC)
