Halo 2 in HD – Complete
The final cutscenes from Halo 2 (the finale, the credits, and the little bit after the credits) are now live in HD in our Halo 2 Cutscene Library. As usual, hosting is shared between us, Clan Infectionist, and Wraith-Ops. New series from Red vs Blue called Reconstruction. Takes place in Valhalla.
RvB is making a new machinima series based in Halo 3’s Valhalla. Unlike the Blood Gulch Chronicles, this new series appears to be dramatic.

Red vs Blue: Reconstruction
The Rooster Teeth crew have announced a new machinima series – Reconstruction. These guys will show you why they’re the best-known Halo machinimators out there – the trailer looks fantastic, and should leave you drooling for the first episode. This one definitely looks more serious than the original RvB series (though Burnie says “don’t let appearances fool you”) – it’s more along the lines (so far) of the Recovery One miniseries. Grifball Spring League Week One Highlights
The Grifball Spring League Week One Highlights are available for watching at grifball.com. (The Ajax stuff that controls which movie you watch seems to remember which one you LAST watched – so if you find yourself watching the Social Highlights, make sure you select the proper movie from the list.) The highlights are awesome, but the sound is horrible; the commentary is nearly unhearable under the game sound effects. I guess you’ll have to make up your own! Halo 3 getting camera effects during gameplay
In the latest Bungie Weekly Update they revealed a new camera feature called Forge Filters. This filters allow mapmakers assign image filters to certain areas of the map. These filters can be experienced by gamers in real-time during multiplayer.
This means that you can venture to a certain part of the map and all of sudden be playing in Black-and-White mode, or Sepia mode, or Pen and Ink mode. The filters are Forge objects so I guess there will be a limited number of these to go in each map.
This will add an interesting twist to custom maps and gameplay in Halo 3. It could be interesting to see what happens when you can’t see what color the other team is.
