Veegie’s back – and he comes bearing gifts. He and a friend have created a Windows-based app that will let you put together your favorite Reach armor combination… offline. I haven’t seen it in use (won’t run under Wine on MacOSX, because it needs a Windows-specific version of a .NET framework), but the screenshots look great, and the description of the work that went into this is really promising. Congrats to Final Boss, who beat Status Quo in the MLG Halo 3 National Championships, becoming the only team to three-peat Halo 3 – and congrats to Ogre 2, who becomes the only player to win the final Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 events! It’s a quiet day, from the standpoint of Halo – MLG Dallas continues (they’re working through the Losers Bracket Semifinals as I write this – Status Quo and Triggers Down are 2-2 with a deciding 5th game coming up – and Instinct and Final Boss are set to meet in the Winners Bracket Finals).
