The folks at Termacious Trickocity have often come up with some pretty amazing videos. Just last year they made their way into the bridge cutscene room in Halo 3! Here, they have outdone themselves. Using ridiculous combos of deployable covers, trip mines, gravity hammers, the Halo 3 ‘Gravemind effect’, respawning, sword elevatoring and more, not only did they visit the bridge cutscene room in Halo 3’s Floodgate level, but they also maneuvered their way into the ramp cutscene room and the portal room. It’s really quite a breathtaking accomplishment what they did here. If you’re a fan of Halo, you’ll want to make time to see what they’ve succeeded in doing with their latest trick! BOLL shared a cool video by Shesez’ ‘Off Camera Secrets’ series that takes a loon at Halo: CE and some of the tech slight-of-hand used to make things look spiffy in-game. A couple of cool things from HaloWaypoint we missed last week:

• ZaedynFel has the latest matchmaking update live in the Waypoint forums. There’s a request for feedback on how you team up for Halo, and info on the possibility of map vetoing in Halo 5 and Forged maps in ranked playlists!
• Also, Sketch visited the Waypoint forums to share some REQ updates for Warzone that were already in effect. It’s easier to rain down pink death now!

Morpheus launches another of his favorite montages to the forum this week in ‘Already Over – A Halo 2 Montage’ by BlaziN. Here’s what Morpheus had to say about this one:

The choice for this week’s Long side theme is almost 15 minutes long and was made about 5 years ago. Some people may not like it–the player, xxBlaziN 187 looks like the kind of person spending too long knowing all the ins and outs of the system, but his skills are absolutely jaw-dropping regardless. You will never comprehend how someone can chain together so many different complicated button combos flawlessly, and under pressure. It’s hard not to smile at the editing here; it’s simple, yet completely embodies the spirit of that “classic” Halo montage feel–you’d think you were back in 2005. While I personally am not a fan of the music choice(also heads up the last song is hip-hop, so NSFW tags) but the amazing gameplay and the nostalgic editing more than make up for it. SLOBSKY decided to destroy the iconic Sacred Icon Green Door in Halo 2 the hard way. The BAW (Break Any Wall) he pulls off is the power way to get in that giant door. Mods went in but they didn’t count, I went in but it was a fluke in the programming that allowed me to just walk in. This is awesome…the flat launch, the CP, the BAW, falltime break, this is the old HIH kind of tricking at it’s best.?(MacGyver10 17:09:25 UTC)
