Around The Ring – Left 4 Dead Campaign Show
Attention Left 4 Dead players, both PC and Xbox alike! The show order is a bit mixed after that glitch with the website. So I’m putting the invite out for Around The Ring to be recorded on the 8th of March. The topic: NO MERCY! We want your stories, tips, and tricks for the No Mercy level, both on the regular Campaign mode, and in Versus mode. Tell us how you survived the vicious tank attacks, and thwarted the witch’s attempts to slash you a few new orifices. Give us your strategies for finishing off survivors in Versus mode, or for surviving the horde as a human.
Oh and in case I didn’t mention the show is open to both PC and Xbox players! You have a decent amount of time to get em’ in using THE BIG GREEN BUTTON, so I expect a new record for ATR submissions! Tell your friends (if you have any), and let the zombiefest commence! Send submissions in using THE BIG GREEN BUTTON (which is actually working down below this)
P.S. I’m looking for some album art for this episode. The winner gets their name stuck up on the front page and their art proudly displayed in every copy of the episode!

Wouldn’t you know it… after a week like this one, I’d come down with the flu. This is pretty much the only newspost I’m going to be able to manage for a while… but I figured folks were waiting on pins and needles, so it’s going up. The HBO Mythic Map Code Giveaway, Round 2 garnered nearly 2700 entries (and many, many more attempts, by people using the same IP address, or the same email address, or the same gamertag). - Mythic Map Impressions at Ready Up Live – try not to crush ’em like yesterday
- Resix and Kingjudge created ‘Average Joes A Halo 3 Montage’ – more fun-to-watch gameplay from (not-so) Average Joes.
- Affirno posted some campaign footage on everyone’s favorite Halo 3 level… whereby he gets splattered by a living being. Ouch! (Skip the first minute.)
- Spartacus280 released a Halo 3 machinima called ‘Retrospect’ – it’s not long, but it’s very nicely done. Definitely worth a look!
