Halo: Special Projects Division-Pages 39-59
The delectable Hedgemony is back today with his latest installment of Halo: Special Projects Division. If you do one thing today, drink some water. If you do two things today, drink some Foster’s and read this comic. You WON’T be disappointed (unless you don’t like Foster’s).(GrimBrother One 14:46:31 UTC)

The Bear and The Bald talk Cryptum
If you get a chance, definitely head over to Waypoint today to catch their videos of Greg Bear, Frank O’Connor, Eric Raab, and Kevin Grace all discussing Cryptum at the Seattle book launch and signing. Some great conversation about the book itself as well as the universe as a whole. Every fan of Halo fiction should take a look, even if just to get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.(GrimBrother One 14:39:56 UTC)

Halo 4 Details Explored
There’s been a rumor going on for quite a while now (since the release of Halo 3) of a new Halo 4 game. Now whether you believe it or not, there are arguments for both sides. A video popped up on YouTube recently that looks at some of the facts, and while those may support the existence of Halo 4, I still think there’s some gaps not filled. The video is mainly a mash-up of pictures and text slides, but the creator makes some good points. Although this has been overlooked next to a rumored Halo: CE remake, from a Halo Fan standpoint, it would be cool to see the conclusion of Master Chief’s legendary ending.

Bungie to look at Reach at GDC
Kornman00 was kind enough to collect the Bungie-related talks at this year’s Game Developers Conference, coming up in early March. Let’s see what we’ve got…- David Aldridge will be talking about Reach’s Networking in “I Shot You First: Networking the Gameplay of HALO: REACH“
- Joe Spataro and Tam Armstrong will be discussing in-game characters in “The Animation of HALO REACH: Raising the Bar“
- Marty O’Donnell’s Adventures with Adaptive Audio, Creative Collaboration and Geese! will be given by (surprise) Marty O’Donnell
- Chris Tchou will delve into the atmospheric stuff in Reach in “HALO: REACH Effects Tech“
- Xi Wang will introduce Reach’s Level of Detail system in “Automated Level of Detail Generation for HALO: REACH” (kornman’s looking forward to this)
- While he’s no longer with Bungie (he’s moved over to 343 Industries), Seth Gibson will be part of a panel called “Technical Artist Boot Camp: Lessons in How to Create and Be an Effective TA“
All in all, a pretty exciting lineup!(Louis Wu 22:21:53 UTC)
