Morpheus Celebrates Halo’s 15th Anniversary by Playing Through Halo 2’s Gravemind
You might have already caught his video for Halo: CE, but Morpheus just popped in to let us know his 15th Anniversary Celebration of Halo video for Halo 2 is up! In it he plays through the level Gravemind (possibly his favorite in the Halo series) as he reflects on Halo 2 and how his parents ‘stole the money’ he was saving for Halo 2’s release date.(MacGyver10 18:41:01 UTC)

Halo Summer Celebration Last Week Announced New Backward Compatible Halo Games and 4k Support for Halo 5
So I picked a very poor time to go on vacation these past ten days, as Halo has seen some very cool info pop up in the last little bit. Specifically, the ‘Halo Summer Celebration’ happened last week where 343 announced a bunch of cool stuff with old Halo games becoming backward compatible this year, Halo Wars 2 DLC plans and Halo 5 getting special Xbox One X updates to make it 4k ready to name a few. Let’s Play Myth II: Soulblighter Co-op #24 Twice Born
We’re playing the next of Bungie’s famous franchises, the Real Time Tactics fantasy wargame, Myth. Set in a mysterious land of cyclical war and destruction, Myth lets you command a ragtag army in a desperate battle against the forces of the Fallen Lords.
We pursue Soulblighter up the fiery slope of Tharsis and encounter a never-before-seen threat!
In this episode we’re once again using the high definition tagset, made by Ooga Booga, Renwood and Road. The Myth Myth HD Total Conversion v1.31 provides higher resolution units.
Due to the tireless work of many community members over the years, the Myth engine has been modernized to work on current operating systems, although you’ll still need a copy of the game’s data files to play. Check Ebay.

UCLA Professor Says She Inspired Jason Jones to Create Halo
In an interesting bit of news, a woman from Jason Jones’ (creator of Bungie and Halo) past has come out saying she was the inspiration for some of the characters in Halo and a muse for Jason Jones during their time in college. Jason Jones admits to having had a friendship with this woman, but denies the muse bit. Still, an interesting read for those that like to hear stories around Halo’s beginning.
