Today saw the announcement of a new Xbox Live testing feature that’s available for the US to download now. Announced on majornelson.com, Xbox Live Labs will be used to improve the Xbox Live service for the future. Although the testing is completely optional, and will have an impact on your internet connection as well as other Xbox Live features, Microsoft are offering exclusive Avatar items as well as a zero point achievement as recognition of taking part.
Testing is currently only open to the US, but may become available to other regions in the future depending on how this current phase of testing works out. Xbox Live Labs runs from March 10th to the 27th.

AH: Weekend Hunt
While most of the Achievement Hunter team are away, the community will play! So if you’re a little down about not going to PAX East, here’s a few things that might cheer you up:
First is a triple bonanza! Jero31 is hosting games in Red Dead Redemption, Gears of War 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Going for any and all multiplayer achievements, but players will need to have all DLC for Gears 2 and RDR.
All times are Central. Red Dead Redemption on March 11th from 5pm, Gears of War 2 on March 12th from 12pm, Marvel vs Capcom 3 on March 13th from 6:30pm.

Defiant Give-away
We’ve managed to get a batch of Defiant Map Pack codes to give-away on Monday when the maps get released. We have a few ways you can get your hands on one, and you will want your hands on this map pack:
- Follow Podtacular on Twitter for a chance to answer trivia questions related to Podtacular and Halo. Announcements when you can win codes will be announced there.
- Between now and Monday at Noon Eastern, we will take submissions of Score Attack games in Gruntpocalypse and Mythic Attack. For each of those two gametypes, we will give away a code to the high scorers of each. Submit a link to the game on B.Net to duststorm@podtacular.com with the Subject: Defiant Giveaway: <gametype>. One entry per gamertag. Multiple entries will void submission.
- We will also be taking submissions from the Competitive playlist looking for the best kill streaks in multiplayer. We are looking for both types of kill streaks: multi-kills and killing sprees. We are looking for the amount and style in which you get them. Clip your best multi-kill or killing spree and upload it to your fileshare. Recommend it to me over XBL at POD Dust Storm or send a link to duststorm@podtacular.com with the Subject: Defiant Giveaway: Kill Streaks.
