March 29 Can’t Come Fast Enough
The Bungie Weekly Update is live – and it’s full of rainbows and unicorns. And charity bracelets, and mappack shilling, and good news about firefightin’. The REALLY awesome news is all about upcoming Matchmaking changes – but don’t skip out on the All-Star Contest entries. Or the very humorous Blame Stosh. As always, you can read it in our Weekly Update Archive – but wherever you read it, make sure you do read it. Good stuff.(Louis Wu 02:58:11 UTC)

Fails of the Weak Volume 26
Achievement Hunter’s Fails of the Weak 26 is now online – I think the Elite’s head through the barrel is my favorite. Lots of Firefight and Campaign fails this week. Thanks, ZZoMBiE13. (Louis Wu 21:15:55 UTC)

Beast-Mode Ep 2: King
John Battle told us about Beast-Mode Episode Two: King. If you didn’t watch the pilot, this will make very little sense. Jude takes on Steve King – and amazingly, qualifies for the tournament.(Louis Wu 17:37:35 UTC)

RT: Bungie Quake Relief
Our good friends over at Bungie, who you may remember made a game called The Reason This Site Exists, have launched a campaign to raise relief funds for victims of the Japanese quake. Please head over to bungie.net and see what you can do to help. They are selling wristbands, the proceeds of which will be donated to the effort. In addition to that, they are donating all profits from the Bungie Store through April 30 as well. You get to help people and get something cool for yourself as well.

AH: The Reapers are coming!

As some of the avid visitors to this site may know I LOVE Mass Effect 2. It is most defiantly in the top 3 games I have ever played so as you can imagine even a year after release I am keeping on top of DLC info for that sexy game (read as sleep really late today to the following news). So finally today BioWare has dropped some official info on us about Arrival the “final” story based DLC for ME2.
So on Tuesday March 29th for 560 space bucks you will be able to get three new achievements (that I would post but are kinda spoilerish) for unknown gamerscore.
So when we get more info on this sexy DLC you will all be the first to know!

A Tale of Defiance to the End
The folks over at Halo Waypoint have put together an awesome piece telling the story behind each of the Defiant maps. And awesome watch, especially for those who like to see certain things tied together. Go watch!(GrimBrother One 15:38:17 UTC)

Wake them when you need them.
High Impact Halo has had a pretty good run. Doors opened on April 6, 2004, and for nearly 7 years, they’ve served the Halo tricking community with grace and panache. But all good things must end… and Ducain’s decided that April 6, 2011 – the 7th anniversary of its opening – is as good a time as any. The site’s not going offline – just into stasis. Swing by and read all the details… and maybe add your own two cents to the goodbye party!(Louis Wu 15:15:36 UTC)
