I’ll catch up from my week long absence last week throughout this one, but the big news today is Halo 3 is TEN YEARS OLD! Check out the piece at Halowaypoint to see a recap of the recent addition of Halo’s Xbox360 titles becoming backward compatible, the (now playable) Halo 3-style playlist in Halo 5, a recap of Halo 3’s launch and stories from those that had a piece of Halo 3’s launch. Revell has kicked off a new line of Combat-Ready Vehicle Model Kids, and they were kind enough to send along the UNSC Pelican. I don’t even want to TELL you how many decades it’s been since I put together a model… but I can guarantee you it’s never been this easy. I’m pretty incompetent, and it still took only 20 minutes. Check out the timelapse below! They’re currently selling a Warthog, a Wraith, and a Scorpion, in addition to this Pelican. Batteries are included!

While it feels like it’s been forever, it’s only 7 years ago that Halo: Reach was released and together we drove over Moas in campaign and dreamed of surfing with elites through the amazing Forge World. Happy birthday Reach, you were better to us than we deserved or probably remember!
