Give it a minute. It’s going to space!

Last year on April Fools Day, Bungie teased that Halo: Reach would be all about chess and going back to roots of strategic gameplay. It was a great tease and people were actually a little sad that the game type wasn’t included in the game. Well guess again, because a year later, this April Fools has become reality and Bungie has released the gametype that will let you play chess in Halo: Reach. Achievement Hunter teased this feature in their latest Fails of the Weak and now have a “How To” video detailing how you can set up Halo to play chess.

NeoGAF’s Hitmonchan107 found a couple of cool news tidbits – the next batch of McFarlane Halo Reach figures has been announced, and Scott Metzger, VFX artist on the “Deliver Hope” video, talked to Chaos Group about the project. Good stuff!(Louis Wu 19:11:27 UTC)

Annnnd… it’s time for another shot at a Star nameplate. Bungie’s All-Stars Contest is up to Week 13 – and this time around, they’re looking for cool Campaign screenshots. Go read all the rules at B.net!(Louis Wu 17:51:31 UTC)

If you like sniping, Bungie’s Comm Chatter has a sniping video for you – All the Gold is some MLG action from Chimp. Go watch.(Louis Wu 17:49:38 UTC)

Curious about the Rooster Teeth offices? Check out the Rooster Teeth Productions Office Tour Video. This week was busy for video releases. Yesterday, we released a commentary of the Angry Birds: The Movie Bloopers by the RT Bullpen and a Director’s Commentary for Immersion: Video Game Foods. On Thursday, we released sponsor only commentaries for Videogame Car, Side Scroller and Zombie Headshots. On Wednesday, the 2nd ever video Drunk Tank came out featuring Gus, Joel, Matt and Burnie. They rehashed the history of Rooster Teeth for the 8th anniversary week. And of course on Monday, the Red vs. Blue Season 9 Trailer was released. Don’t forget about AHWU, HORSE and Fails of the Week at Achievement Hunter. Happy Hunting.
