Leviathan stopped by our forum this morning with five new pages for his ‘A Fistful of Arrows’ graphic novel. They’re posted on the forum for nostalgia’s sake, though they’re also live in the story’s dedicated site (the first new page is here). I have nothing to say about these that I haven’t said already – but I’ll repeat my sentiment that this might just be my favorite fan creation of all time. If you’re new to AFoA, start at the beginning. If you’re not, read the most recent five pages. Either way, marvel at a story well-told, and amazingly illustrated. A couple of days ago, zerowind117 stopped by with word of an invincible grunt – shot in the head over and over, he simply wouldn’t fall. He got a response from kornman00 (who had a similar experience) – but zerowind117’s film wasn’t rendered, so nobody watched (I guess). He came back today, and tried again – this time, NsU Soldier ponied up the render minute, and you can watch the video embedded in his post. It’s pretty funny. RVG E Nomini pointed us to his new montage PatriM3H – has footage from Halo 2, Halo 3, and Reach. Quality is… well, not the high point. (It’s VGA at best, and recorded off the screen in many clips.) Some sweet plays, though! (A bit long, given the media, but maybe that’s just me. And the very last clip just made me angry.)(Louis Wu 13:37:35 UTC)
