Back before the Bungie Optimatch forum shut down, Jeremiah agreed to answer fan-submitted questions about Megalo, Bungie’s gametype-creation scripting language. The answer session didn’t come to pass, but Jon Cable just dropped into our forum with answers for FyreWulff’s ridiculously long list of questions he’d submitted to the page; his post is a fascinating read. It’s not a NEW picture – in fact, you can find it in Bungie’s ODST Wallpaper collection – but we’ve only mentioned Jaime Jones a couple of times here, and his work is DEFINITELY worth exploring. If you’re a paid member of Giant Bomb, you can go watch a new series on their site – it’s called ‘Load our Last Save’, and the first episode (apparently) has them booting up an old console with Halo in it, and playing from their last save point – with commentary. ZZoMBiE13, who told us about this, says it’s a pretty interesting video! (Access to paid features at Giant Bomb costs $5/month, or $50/year. This post is NOT advising you to purchase a membership to watch this video; I can’t see it myself, so I can’t tell you how good it is. This week for Podtacular, we are going to be talking about the Halo story, including the games and books.  We will speculate on what we might see in the terminals from Halo: CEA and in Halo 4.  We will be having HBO’s GrimBrother One on the show to help in the discussions.  We want to know what you guys think about the Halo storyline as well, whether it’s your favorite campaign memory, and interesting book fact, or your speculations on the coming stories.  We will be recording on Thursday so get your submissions in.

Treeskunk Productions is celebrating their 6th anniversary by re-releasing early material they’d had to parcel out in chunks the first time through. First up – Revenge. This one actually came out first in ONE piece – but the YouTube release was two parts. Now it’s one.
