So as anyone who’s played Reach online recently knows, the Title Update went live a few days ago – and a small group of people were suddenly locked out of Matchmaking, inadvertently. (Folks who participated in a LIVE beta recently received a ‘preview disc’ with Halo: Reach on it – this version was supposed to be identical to the retail version, but turned out not to be.) It took a couple of days, but a fix has been settled upon – people with the preview disc received an email with a code for a Games on Demand version of Halo: Reach. We were all dazzled by what we saw from the Halo 4 panel at Halo Fest, but we really haven’t had the chance to speculate here on the show what we might expect to see from the upcoming Halo Reclaimer Trilogy. So we decided to take the Halo Lore master from HBO, GrimBrother One and speculate on what we could possibly see in the new games. We are also joined by Elusive Eagle from Spirits of Fire. bs angel dropped us another Bulletin last night featuring the remake of Timberland for Halo CEA: Ridgeline.  This map comes from one of the classic Halo: PC maps and is a pretty good pick for a remake (I still think Chiron TL34 would have been cool…).  There are some pretty screenshots of the environment and is probably one of the prettiest maps we’ve seen in Reach so far.  On a Forge note, people will be glad to hear that trees are now a forgeable item for Ridgeline (like there weren’t enough trees already).

The Title Update also hit this week, but you won’t see any immediate changes.  In order to celebrate a little though, Waypoint has released a Zero Bloom Slayer Game Variant for download.  There’s also a nice wallpaper for Halo CEA that you should go download and put to use immediately.
