Anniversary Delayed in Brazil
Marcelo Vega, a Brazilian fan from Too Gamers, sent word that there’s bad news regarding Halo Anniversary in his country – it’s being delayed a couple of days. Release is now set for November 17. (Reasoning is unclear.) On the bright side (well, for Brazilians), the cost there is R$99 (about $56 US) – which might sound really expensive to folks IN the US, but is quite cheap by Brazilian standards.(Louis Wu 15:17:19 UTC)

A Fistful of Arrows gets a soundtrack
Sean Mortensen has been in our news before – he composes lots of music. Recently, he created an entire soundtrack… for A Fistful of Arrows, the graphic novel put together by Leviathan. Levi sent us the tracks, along with Sean’s commentary on each, and a bonus piece of cover art for the album itself (he figured if Sean could put up a soundtrack, the least he could do is cover it). You’ll find all of this content on a page we put together to showcase this very nice collection of work. Go listen!(Louis Wu 19:42:53 UTC)

Anniversary Collector’s Pack, Down Under
According to In Entertainment (a UK website), the Australian EB Games will be offering a ‘Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Collector’s Pack‘ – for $88 (Australian – about $91 US), you get Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and an NKOK RC Warthog. I thought this was a pretty expensive package – until I realized that the game, by itself, is $68 in Australia. Thanks, ElzarTheBam.(Louis Wu 18:35:04 UTC)

Halo 3 – In Memoriam
zukan informed us of a metal cover, done by Brandon Strader, of some Halo 3 songs at DwellingofDuels – I’m not even a metal fan, and I liked it! the URL it’s sitting at suggests that it might be pretty transient, so we’ve put up a local copy (7.4 mb). (Louis Wu 15:49:48 UTC)
