Matt MacNabb, from The Legion Fan Network, let us know about a new article on ToyLegion.com showing off the latest bust from One2One Collectibles – it looks to be the Spartan character from Halo Wars. (You can see the images on One2One’s own site, if you’d rather have them without the Toy Legion watermark.) Lesbian Gamers are pretty unhappy with the character of Veronica Dare – and with Bungie’s portrayal of women in the military. (Well… at least THIS woman.) To be fair, I haven’t run across many people – gay or straight, male or female – who like Dare’s character… so maybe LG is mad at the right thing for the wrong reasons. (And quite a number of their complaints would either continue to be true if Dare’s character had been male, or simply ignore equal treatment of male characters in the game.)
