How You Remind Me
I should learn. Every once in a while, AssaultGodzilla drops by our forum and announces a music video, and I think, oh, man, not another one… but I watch it… and every time, I come away surprised – because AssaultGodzilla has a notable talent for creating well-synched, moving Halo vids. I don’t like the song, and I feel that in general, music videos compiled from Halo cutscenes have been done so often that getting an audience excited is really difficult – but ‘How You Remind Me‘ does a fantastic job of synching Halo 2 (and a little Halo 3) footage to music. Go look – it’s worth it.(Louis Wu 12:03:08 UTC)

Bungie Vets Shoot For The Moon
—
by
Three veterans of Bungie LLC (née Bungie Studios, née Bungie Software) are forming a new venture: Moonshot Games. Moonshot was founded by former Halo producer Michael Bastien, Bungie AI programmer Damián Isla and Halo 3 designer/writer Rob Stokes. Also on board is artist Mike McCain.
The company’s site says they are going into a quiet period, but will be focusing on the production of “high-quality downloadable games”. No word yet on platform or genre.

Wednesday Afternoon at the Movies
Some new movies for you, courtesy of Bungie’s Comm Chatter:- 3-D Halo is a stereoscopic Halo machinima – doesn’t really seem to have a plot, except to show you cool angles of Halo stuff flying at you and such. (Needs either 3-D glasses or the ability to unfocus your eyes.)
- Knights of the Goose is a Halo 3 montage mostly covering vehicles.
- Chronicles of Lyle Extra shows off montages from both Lyle and Kyle
Not as strong as some movie collections, but hey, it’s mid-week… folks are busy.(Louis Wu 17:54:15 UTC)
