Forward Unto Dawn has a new piece – this one returns to the Beyond the Frontline opinion series, and focuses on an open beta test for Halo 4 – or more specifically, whether Halo 4 NEEDS an open beta. Interesting read! Thanks, Dani.(Louis Wu 17:36:03 UTC)
I plan on making a total of 117 pieces of Halo fan art this year by Halo 4’s release. Here is one example of some of my previous Halo art. It’s an Elite screenshot in linoleum I made last Spring for design class. I thought it turned out great!
This is a laid back Halo 3/Halo: Reach montage from Piano Frenzy, edited by himself, entitled “Lazarus.” This montage doesn’t show your traditional sniper/BR Multikills, instead focusing on more creative, unique plays that primarily revolve around trick jumping. The editing is very simple, consisting of cuts, angles, and clever clip storyboarding, but it gets the job done, placing a heavy emphasis on syncing. Lastly, the guy playing the piano is Piano Frenzy himself. Enjoy!
thebruce0 stopped in with a link to a (currently live) podcast from Rex Sikes, on blogtalkradio, containing an interview with Jared Pelletier, the driver behind the Halo: Faith movie. I can’t figure out how to hear the relevant portion at the moment (will probably be easier once the live part is over), but according to thebruce0, Pelletier has said that the project no longer has a potential release, apparently because of an IP conflict. Bummer!(Louis Wu 17:18:30 UTC)
How much Halo-related merchandise do you own? Do you have more than our next guest, One One Seven? If you do, drop by our broadcast Saturday night with some images of your collection to see if YOU should be the Halo Fan of the Decade. ‘Cause right now our guest owns that title and I don’t see him being dethroned anytime soon.
The Green Room goes live this Saturday, the 19th, at 9:30pm ET. Interview at 10. Yip.
Achievement HORSE #57 (AchievementHunter.com | YouTube) marks the return of Geoff – will Jack’s 3 extra months of practice keep him on top? Watch to find out! hezekiah’s informational forum post used up what seems to be a lifetime supply of horse puns, so the next few announcement posts will probably read “Achievement HORSE #[some_number_here] live”.(Louis Wu 15:24:43 UTC)
Lord Friendship stopped in with some interesting information from reddit – looks like a woman is claiming to be the face of Cortana for Halo 4. No word from 343 on whether her claims have merit.

RC Master continues to hone his Firefight Survival gametype – check the post for details and download links! Doesn’t look like Waypoint plans on making too many changes to the Firefight playlists online, so this might be your best chance for some variety.(Louis Wu 15:13:15 UTC)
