Forerunner Relic Scene
Adam Murphy sent us a link to a video he created using the Unreal Development Kit – it’s amazing. It was inspired by some Frank Capezzuto concept art from the Art of Halo 3 book (it’s available on Frank’s website, as well) – and if you’re more interested in how this came together, Adam’s portfolio contains some great images. Go watch. Really. (Louis Wu 17:22:35 UTC)

Halo IRL: Exit 117
Halo is a fictional universe. However, sometimes we catch sight of things in real life that remind us of our favorite science fiction video game franchise. This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. Enjoy the subtle Halo references sometimes spotted when out and about in the real world, and if you have a picture you’d like to submit for possible future inclusion, send it to bsangel[at]halowaypoint.com!

From FBWalshyFTW:This is a laid-back Halo 3 montage from Mudraxx, edited by Magix, entitled “Small Bump.” The gameplay is mainly social, and it features some ridiculous Multikills involving 360 snipes along with a sweet Killionaire finish. The simple editing complements the relaxed soundtrack well, mainly relying on simple angles and the basic fast forward effect to sync things while keeping the gameplay intact. Enjoy!

Halo 4 Intel Inbound Soon?
Thanks to Hypertrooper, who brought the word to HaloGAF of the finnish magazine Pelaaja reporting that news on Halo 4 would be revealed at the Xbox Spring Showcase on February 29. Halo Minesweeper
Every once in a while, someone creates a minigame in Forge that shows just how flexible the engine can be, when confronted with enough creativity. pete_the_duck stopped in yesterday to announce Minesweeper… which, amazingly, works the same in Halo: Reach as it does on your PC. My jaw is officially dropped. (Louis Wu 13:53:46 UTC)
