Shield and Sword – The Howling Dark
Leviathan is a Halo fan with a fantastic imagination and some serious artistic talent. The combination leads to some really interesting projects. His latest is called ‘Shield and Sword’ (we’ve mentioned it a couple of times), and he’s using it to take a look at what COULD be the next Halo game. (Well, what could be the next Halo game if someone were making games based on his daydreaming.) HALO: The Fallen (Prologue)
Mr.Sci-Fi stopped by last night to let us know about a premiere of a new live-action fan film, Halo: The Fallen. Their Facebook page is here, and the released short – HALO: The Fallen (Prologue) – is pretty amazing. Made on a tiny budget, it takes some inspiration from the really successful reminiscence ads for Halo 3, and combines live-action footage with some really well-integrated CG to make a truly impressive short.
