Avatar borrowing from Halo? No, says Cameron
James Cameron talked to G4TV a couple of days ago – and he reminded Halo fans that are criticizing Avatar for its similarities to Bungie’s game that Bungie’s game owes quite a bit to Cameron’s earlier work (Aliens) – and that if he’s referencing anything, it’s that. Thanks to deftangel for pointing this out.(Louis Wu 15:00:53 UTC)

AH: Bayonetta Bundle o Vids
Morning everyone,
I hope you’re ready for an onslaught of Bayonetta today. This first post contains four highly educational, yet entertaining videos. How educational? Well, I don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s been talk of some of it being included in the SATs. STUDY PEOPLE. So without further adieu, I present you: Professors’ Jack and Geoff’s daily lesson plan.
This first video covers Alfheims 1-12. And the next video covers the remaining Alfheims (13-21). Our next video is a gripping treatise on two Achievements “Tread Not So Softly” and “Higher & Higher.” Take a break, stretch your legs, sharpen your pencils, then dive into “Touch And It Will (Really) Hurt” and “Nice And Relaxed.” That’s it for right now, but check back soon, because Jack and I have prepared even more Bayonetta for you.

AH: Finishing up Bayonetta
Hey Everyone,
Here’s our last batch of Bayonetta vids. I could ramble on about how awesome they are, groundbreaking some would say, a marriage of incredible gaming and superior editing others would say, and they’d be right of course, but I’m not one to brag. So without further adieu…
First up is a guide to the Record Fanatic Achievement: Next we have Sapientia, Controller Of Seas: Followed by Naughty Tentacles: And Temperantia, Manipulator Of Wind: And finally, we round it out with Lustitia, Giver of Life: Ok, I think that covers it for Bayonetta. Now on to Army of Two: 40th Day.

RT: Rock, Paper, Really?
I’m assuming at some point during the development of Army of Two: 40th Day, someone said “Instead of more guns, what if we added rock, paper, scissors? I hear mercenaries LOVE to play it!”, and for some reason, everyone agreed wholeheartedly. Maybe they even played it to determine if the feature should make it in the game. Or, maybe some poor producer lost a bet, and this was his punishment. Regardless, it’s weird. If you don’t believe me, check out the video AH made about it.

It’s Rainin’ Videos
Bungie’s Comm Chatter has more videos than you can shake a remote at:- Hardass Space Adventures continues with ‘Bring Your Orphan To Work Day‘ – I don’t think Hardass’s friends understand what kids are all about. Especially kids like Lyle.
- B Mc Gan and Mc Gann2 released Dualistic Proelium – HD gameplay collected from Social and MLG lists.
- A bunch of fans put together footage from Rocket Race to create Shuttle, a Rocket Race montage.
- Red Bull Sniper has a montage called ‘Fury of the Noob 3‘ – DPM’s pretty high.
- Greenskull built a ‘Randomtage‘ – it’s pretty random.
Go watch!(Louis Wu 18:50:06 UTC)
