When not in a hurry to kick some Robot Ninja ass or to save a Damsel in Distress, Super Space Gordon likes to have his bike polished, but it looks like the Angry Truck from Outer Space feels differently….
No tank was damaged during the shooting of this machinima.
I found this incredible painting on the forums. It was created by Biwald and captures a SPARTAN-II stepping on a Clone Trooper’s head and UNSC ships engaging Imperial Destroyers. Hence, “Taking back the Universe.”
Here is a great racetrack with smooth turns and nice jumps, made by XreignZ. To download the map, go on Reach, click Start, click File Browser, click New Custom Search, click File Share Search, and then type in “XreignZ.” Enjoy!
Two Halo fans got a special chance to spend an evening playing Halo 4 and mingling with football stars – their impressions might provide a small insight into what’s coming this November. halo.bungie.org is hosting the thoughts of Louis Wu (me!) and Miguel
Chavez (not me!) – take a look.
Jake Wheeler has created ‘Astronomic‘ – a video which shows the epic scale of the Halo universe. (His post contains links to two versions – you pick the one you’d rather watch.) It’s not exactly what I’d expected – but it does a fine job of showing off some of the grandiose environments and views we get in the games. Take a look!(Louis Wu 15:48:46 UTC)
The Tyrant has started a new mini-series in his Tyrant Documentaries vlog – Zara is a gamer who’s never played Halo before, so Tyrant’s taken her under his wing. Will she become a Halo expert before the mini-series ends? You’ll have to watch to find out!(Louis Wu 15:44:01 UTC)
Edge sent word that Halotracker is featuring a new Halo: Reach Highlights video created by HT member crespo2006. Short and sweet – go watch!

He was hired just a couple of months after Reach was released – and he’s been a Sandbox Engineer ever since. Swing by the latest Breaking In article at Bungie.net to see where he came from, how he got the job he has now, and what he can teach you about working in the videogame industry!(Louis Wu 15:32:26 UTC)

ElzarTheBam dropped in with word of a new interview with Halo 4 composer Neil Davidge over at Edge Magazine. Always good to get a bit more insight into what our ears will be experiencing this November, go and check it out!(GrimBrother One 13:59:32 UTC)
Shadders posted a bunch of pics of the ThreeA Carter statue coming at some point (we don’t have release info) last week – today, Mr.Sci-Fi stopped by with some of the same pics… and a movie. (The video is footage from a Hong Kong event where the photos were taken – following the link above should take you right to the Carter footage.)(Louis Wu 21:23:37 UTC)
Nice – CVG has posted a complete Halo timeline, originally published in Xbox World Magazine. Interesting read! Thanks, ElzarTheBam.(Louis Wu 18:33:20 UTC)

A Covenant spire needs to be taken out and its data retrieved. The only soldiers that are remotely badass enough to complete the mission are SPARTAN-IIIs. Death is almost a certainty, and failure is probably an option as well. The mission’s success lies in the hands of a young lieutenant and her squad of elite soldiers. Well, for the most part….
