Halo 3: ODST – The Movie (plus a bonus)
The Tyrant has released two new videos – we’re a day late (at least) telling you about them. Halo 3: ODST has been released as a full run-through, cutscenes and all, in a theatrical presentation – difficulty is set to Heroic. This is a nearly-4-hour extravaganza. He’s also posted Sadie’s Story as a single-segment linear video. If you haven’t seen it, or would rather watch it without having to navigate through the individual segments, take a look at this!(Louis Wu 17:08:03 UTC)

This particular series, titled Halo in Real Life, showcases those very moments. That Big Promethean Ball/Ship/Whatever It Is – A Minecraft Remake
From Zachery:I built this cool looking Minecraft creation, inspired by the Halo 4 E3 trailer. It’s that big Promethean ball/ship/whatever-the-hell-it-is, seen shortly after the Infinity crashes. It took about two hours to build. The hardest part was figuring out what angle to build it from. It was a little annoying at first because I had to undo everything and move it up a block. Anyway, enjoy!

ExpertZone leak means more Halo 4 info
Early this morning, over on NeoGAF, OdysseusVA pointed out that there’s a new training course on ExpertZone, the Microsoft resource for helping game store employees get up to speed on new games. Shadders jumped on the situation, and quickly posted a full collection of info – it provides previously-unreleased details about Halo 4’s feature set that should be of interest to most fans. (This is something of a grey area, as far as leaks go – I think normally, we’d stay away from stuff like this, but in this case, it’s already been picked up by outlets like Eurogamer, and will be all over the internet by the end of today… and with one major exception, it’s minor information.) The big bit, for me – the first season of Spartan Ops is currently planned to be 10 weeks long (5 missions per week). Awesome! ZaneZavin kicked off a thread on our forum, if you would like to discuss this stuff. (OdysseusVA’s post also contains a couple of cool phone wallpapers, if you’re interested.)(Louis Wu 14:14:48 UTC)

GCA E3 Awards – Halo 4 Goes Home a Winner
The Game Critics Awards for E3 2012 have been posted… and Halo 4 walked away with two: Best Action Game, and Best Online Multiplayer. Not bad! Thanks, Hypertrooper. (For reference: Halo won Best Action Game in 2000. Halo 2 won both Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer, plus Best Console Game, in 2004. Halo 3 won Best Online Multiplayer in 2007. Reach was nominated for both Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer, but lost out to Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, respectively.)(Louis Wu 16:34:06 UTC)
