OXM talks to Marcus
Last week, a video went up on Xbox LIVE’s Spotlight – it was an interview with Marcus Lehto, recorded by OXM at the Game Developers Conference. There wasn’t a huge amount of new content, but for folks looking for every tidbit of Reach coverage out there, it’s worth a look. It got posted on YouTube yesterday. Thanks, Zeouterlimits.(Louis Wu 15:39:10 UTC)

AH: The Weekend Hunt
While Jack and Geoff are away, the community will play!
After the success of last week’s community game nights, we’re back for more to make up for lacking the cash or time to make an appearance at PAX East.
We want as many community run events as possible, so if you’re planning one, post the details in this AH group thread. For his first hunt, jakxin wants some fellow Umbrella Operatives for Resident Evil 5, focusing on the Versus achievements in Survival, Team Survival, Slayer and Team Slayer. These are time consuming achievements, so if you don’t get many this time, jakxin will most likely be doing the same again on other weekends.
Things are going to be kicking off Saturday March 27 starting at 2 pm CST.
Get in on the action by contacting Gamertag: jakxin

Nine Levels Underground
NeoGAF’s Shake Appeal has taken a literary look at Halo 3: ODST – and drawn some pretty impressive parallels between the game and Dante’s Inferno. It’s a masterpiece of educated videogame discussion, and a fascinating read – and it makes me more enamored with Bungie’s story-telling after seeing some of the subtleties that worked their way into the narrative. Give it a read! (Warning: it’s quite long – nearly 8,000 words.)(Louis Wu 17:24:30 UTC)

Not A Halo Ring
Dani, the man behind Forward Unto Dawn, received an in-game message last night during HaloGAF’s weekly custom games. The message came from his girlfriend, and was facilitated by DiabolicalBagel, a friend. The message resulted in a shiny new ring for Dani, some unprintable words for Bagel, and a pretty cool story to tell to the kids someday. Congrats, Dani (and Ellen)!(Louis Wu 17:02:35 UTC)
