Community Evolved update
davidfuchs stopped in with word of an update to the Community Evolved Kickstarter project – it’s available only to backers, but it’s a pretty interesting tidbit (and you can get in on the action for as little as $1). One thing I hadn’t noticed before now – if you want a copy of this book, once it’s finished… backing the Kickstarter project is the only way to get it. You’ve still got 22 days… go check it out!(Louis Wu 15:50:33 UTC)

A Brief History of Halo: Mantle
Urban Reflex has compiled some interesting information – you can read his summary if the whole concept of ‘The Mantle’ is fuzzy in your head. (There were lots of pieces in Cryptum and Primordium that were easily overlooked; UR has done a fine job of concisely summarizing the salient points.) (Louis Wu 15:46:29 UTC)

Red vs. Blue PSA: Voting Fever
The Red vs Blue crew has put together a new PSA – this one is called ‘Voting Fever’, and suggests some of the issues with Halo 4’s release and the US Election happening at the same time. Thanks, CrazY CroaTia. (Louis Wu 15:43:59 UTC)

Halo 4 Launch Gameplay Trailer
If you missed ‘Sons of Anarchy’ last night, the trailer that showed during the program can be found online – both on Halo Waypoint and on YouTube. It’s an official trailer – which means it contains content that 343 doesn’t think will spoil the game for you… but if you’re staying totally campaign-dark, you should probably skip it, since it DOES tell you a little more about the campaign than you might already know. (It also contains a bit of Multiplayer, and overall is a great piece of promotion.) Enjoy! (Or don’t…)(Louis Wu 10:41:36 UTC)

Forge with Pete 10: Guitar Halo
pete_the_duck surprises me with almost every new Forge With Pete episode… but this latest one (which happens to be the last one) is truly jaw-dropping. He’s created Guitar Halo – you can play a Guitar Hero-style game… in Halo. First he shows you how it plays, then he shows you how he did it. Watch it at Idleduck.com, or Halo Waypoint. Gorbleblorf. Read how he got to where he is!(Louis Wu 18:54:07 UTC)
