ExpertZone is a website designed to help members get up to speed on Microsoft products. For example, there is information about games that is provided so that salespeople for retail outfits (like GameStop or EB Games) can speak knowledgeably about games they may not have had time to play or study. Shadders recently posted a PDF, put together by Microsoft, that summarizes (in a couple of dozen pages) the critical pieces of Halo 4 that someone might need to know to explain the game to a potential buyer. It’s really nicely put together, and it has a bunch of artwork assets that might be of use to folks with a creative bent. Grab a copy from his NeoGAF post! It’s a project made to highlight the Halo community over the last 10 years since Halo hit the streets and brought us all together through the magic of gaming. Halo4Montage’s Brian Parry pointed us to StickyIcky, a Halo 3 film… this is amazing. The trailer for this came out just under 3 years ago, and I remember being really excited for the final product. Circinius IV has been invaded by a Covenant strike team. Lasky and the rest of Hastati’s quat run back to the barracks to take cover as they seen their fellow soldiers and cadets fall to the weight of the covenant. After Chen’s untimely death and Vicker’s heroic move to give the rest of Hastati quad more time, it seemed that all hope was lost and sure they were to be exterminated by a single Elite wielding a mighty energy sword. With precision timing and in typical fashion, Spartan 117, Master Chief assassinates the elites and saves the cadets from their impending doom. The cadets grab armor and weapons and head out for extraction. As they walked through the halls of the academy and the fields outside, they walk pass dead bodies as they learn they are the only ones left on the planet.
