It’s that time again friends, time for some Halo auctions to benefit Child’s Play! Up for grabs this year are a Halo 4 Master Chief helmet set, Halo 4 20×30 Master Chief-inspired art piece, and Halo 4 Spartan Ops-inspired 20×30 art print. All three items have been signed by 343 Industries and proceeds are donated directly to Child’s Play. So bid early, and bid often!

Some people get really excited about midnight launches; they dress up, they buy cookies, they do all sorts of things to celebrate. Me? I’m a little crazy, so for the midnight launch at my local EB Games, I made a (totally edible and hopefully delicious) cake in the shape of Master Chief’s head. The cake itself is sour cream pound cake, with (blue) vanilla buttercream frosting on the inside, and the whole thing is covered with a layer of vanilla fondant. This was my first time making a cake that wasn’t your typical sheet cake, but all in all, I think to turned out pretty good!

Fight Like a Girl is an annual fund and awareness raising tournament that benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure – a charity for breast and cervical cancer research. This year FLAG has teamed up with GrifballHub to bring you the first ever Halo 4 FLAG Grifball tournament!
