Bulletonian
The latest Halo Bulletin went live on Halo Waypoint (and in our Halo Bulletin Archive) last night – it’s not all sweetness and light. There’s some information about the upcoming second half of the Spartan Ops first season, and a bit of info about next week’s new Matchmaking playlist changes… but there’s also the sad news that the Halo 2 Vista online support will officially end on February 15. If you’re gonna play… do it now! Update: A community question, asking about the expected date of arrival of Fileshare functionality, was inserted late on Thursday into Wednesday’s Bulletin. We’ve added it to the local copy, too.(Louis Wu 19:14:39 UTC)

Halo 4 War Games: Haven

Download
One of the most favorite multiplayer maps in the Halo 4 experience has been Haven, which was actually designed with competitive play in mind. This map is most popular among competitive players because of it’s symmetry and many routes of escapes and shooting paths. To help us better understand the map, we have Nak3d Eli from Nak3d Halo on to give us the inside scoop on strategy, spawns, weapons, and control points on the map. Enjoy

A ginormous vehicle
This article in the LA Times is a fascinating look at the Warthog that 343 commissioned from marketing company Antenna. Stop by for behind-the-scenes details, a great photogallery, and the tantalizing tidbit that “buyers with deep pockets may even be able to take home a version of their own”… whoa. Thanks to BS Angel for highlighting this on Waypoint.(Louis Wu 20:32:13 UTC)

Warthog Goes from Pixels to Reality
If you’re anything like me, your dreams are full of Spartan super-soldiers and their larger-than-life rides. If the latter sounds familiar, check out LA Times automotive writer David Undercoffler’s thoughts on our recently commissioned Warthog, which stands (er, rolls?) almost 8 feet tall, more than 8 feet wide and more than 17 feet long. Yes, it comes with a turret. No, it’s not real. You can’t have everything, you know…

In other words, the “break room” in between the time you die and come back where Halo Spartans go to socialize when not hard at work. There he meets Otto and Ted, who break the news of the truth to him in this ode to the ’90’s sitcom netherworld.
